Limited is a company that deals in financial services that was established on
the 23rd March 2016 to provide affordable credit to SME businesses in order to
migrate them to corporate companies. Our target is to sustain, grow and expand
businesses by not only providing financial support through loans but also
through financial advice, consultancy, business and management trainings among
others.
Job Summary:
The Credit Officer will be tasked with proactively soliciting, recruitment and
on boarding of clients who require financial support. The Officer will also
engage in relationship management, credit administration, credit monitoring and
recover of non-performing loans.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • The incumbent will grow the business by identifying potential
    clients.
  • Conduct loan appraisals for applying clients and recommend to the
    Credit Manager for a credit decision    .
  • Recover the loans in accordance with the loan agreements.
  • Build, strengthen and manage the relationships between the Company
    and clients.
  • Provide technical guidance/assistance to the clients to use sound
    practices in their organizations.
  • Actively participate in promotion and dissemination of relevant
    information, procedures and guidelines about the Company to different
    stakeholders.
  • Take part in the process of defaulter recovery at the office.
  • Compile periodic performance reports on clients under his/her areas
    of supervision for submission to the Credit Manager.
  • Supervise clients to abide by the agreed loan terms in the contract.
  • Actively participate in identification of Risks and provide
    mitigation.
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Increased credit portfolio.
  • Proper and timely assessment of credit application.
  • Well maintained loan portfolio.
  • Recovery and low Non performing loans.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate should preferably hold a First Class, Second
    Class Upper or Second Class lower Degree in Business-related courses from a recognized University.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills.
  • High levels of integrity.
