the Uganda Registration Services Bureau Act Cap. 210, Laws of Uganda 2000
Edition. The Bureau is a key player in commercial and civil registrations that
facilitate private sector development and vital statistics for national
planning.
Job Summary:    The Estates Officer will handle issues of
Estate management of assets, businesses and property under the control of the
office of the Official Receiver
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Compiles and maintains lists of assets and businesses under the
    control of the Official Receiver 
    Prepares accountability reports on assets and businesses under the
    Official Receiver
  • Closely monitors the performance of Estates and/or businesses under
    receivership, prepares and submits status reports to the Senior Estates
    Officer
  • Develops and maintains lists of entities or persons under the
    Official receiver
  • Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by
    the Senior Estates Officer

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the Uganda Registration Services Bureau
    (URSB) Estates Officer job placement must hold an honors’ degree in
    Commerce, or Accounting or law
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Proven integrity and confidentiality in handling public resources
    and in executing duties
  • A high level of interpersonal, management skills and ability to work
    with teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
