• Disbursement of credit in a prudent manner
• Monitoring of loan performance and loan recovery
• Constant Monitoring and review of credit policies in line with
  changes/developments in the industry.
• Responsible for the management of the Credit Risk for Group Loans
• To develop appropriate reporting and quality control standards and
  guidelines for the credit department plus comply with reporting
  requirements from the CEO, Head of Credit and BOU in line the credit
  policies and procedures manual.
• Carry out credit analysis to minimize credit risk in line with the
  credit policy.
• Development of tools to assist manage credit risk for Group Loans
• Recommending appropriate reward systems that are performance based
• Developing and advising on lending, credit and risk management
  strategies including pre-loan eligibility requirements, client screening,
  collateral, product design, loan approval processes, repayment terms and
  incentives, delinquency and default management.
• He/she is responsible for the implementation of the Group Lending
  policies and procedures in the institution.
• In-charge of monitoring and reporting of the loan portfolio quality
  of the institution.
• The Product Manager, Group Loans is in-charge of the credit approval
  process of all Group Loans.
• He/she is in-charge of coordinating and monitoring the collection of
  all delinquent loans in the institution.
• In-charge of preparing and submitting to the Head of Credit, all
  Credit Reports –Group Lending to RALCO, SMT, the Board and other stake
  holders
• The Product Manager, Group Loans is responsible for the supervision
  and coordination of all the group loan related projects in the
  institution.
• Developing and motivating the Credit Team towards upholding the
  strategic direction of the Institution
• Timely and accurate reporting.

• The ideal candidate for the UGAFODE Product Manager, Group Loans job
  must possess a Bachelor’s degree in business related subject from a
  reputable University
• Five years of experience in a Senior Management position.
• The applicant must have worked with a financial institution and been
  involved in credit and savings operations for a period of not less than 5
  years
• An effective leadership with ability enthuse and inspire employees
  to give their best in order to achieve goals.
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to adopt and work
  cooperatively and effectively in different situations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Energetic and ability to be active throughout and willingness to
  learn
• High level of honesty, integrity and confidentiality
• Excellent communication skills and high level of customer care
• Willing to work long hours with minimum supervision
