Job Title: Quality Checker (3 Fresher Jobs)

About Organisation:
Xclusive Uganda is a group of Horticulture companies consists of 3 companies: Xclusive Young Plants, Xclusive Kalanchoe and Xclusive Chrysanthemum. Our total production area is about 11 hectares, and we work together with 550 colleagues.
Job Summary: To ensure that the cuttings or processes consistently meet defined quality standards before they reach clients or move to the next stage of operation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Randomly select and inspect bags of cuttings for quality compliance.
- Verify correct sealing and matching information on each bag.
- Carefully handle cuttings to prevent damage.
- Count cuttings to confirm accurate quantities.
- Measure and assess samples against quality specifications.
- Report inspection findings to the Senior Quality Checker and record results accurately.
- Repack, reseal, and label inspected bags correctly.
- Meet inspection targets for different crop types.
- Maintain cleanliness and follow hygiene and safety protocols.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of quality control.
- Ability to read and follow SOPs and instructions.
- Honest, attentive, and detail oriented.
- Willing to cooperate and work as part of a team.
- Able to communicate in English (spoken and written)
