Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Coordination:
  • Develop and update short-term plans and look-ahead plans for the Oil Treatment Unit (OTU), work in line with the overall project schedule.
  • Coordinate daily and weekly work fronts with site supervisors, discipline leads, and subcontractors to optimize resource allocation and the sequencing of activities.
  • Work Monitoring :
  • Track and monitor the daily progress of OTU activities (installation, alignment, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation connections).
  • Monitor the status of critical equipment, long-lead items, and materials required for OTU.
  • Ensure the tracking of engineering deliverables, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
  • Technical Support and Interfaces :
  • Assist site teams in resolving technical queries and clarifying construction details.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and commissioning teams to ensure a smooth workflow and timely handovers.
  • Pre-commissioning and Readiness:
  • Monitor pre-commissioning activities, punch list completion, and preparation for OTU commissioning.
  • Verify the conformity of auxiliary systems (fuel gas, air intake, lubrication, controls) before handover.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:




  • Engineering degree or equivalent in related discipline with experience in pre-commissioning within Oil & Gas
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in oil and gas projects, with extensive multi-discipline pre-commissioning and Oil Gas construction experience
  • Good knowledge of major Contractors in oil and gas construction projects.
  • The ideal candidate shall be fully conversant with the applicable Oil and Gas Industry International Codes, Standards as well as best Industry Practices.
  • A good awareness of other disciplines. Significant responsibility in multi-discipline teams or projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Valid medical certificate per company standards.
