Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- As a Process Technologist (sometimes known as a Process Development Technologist), you’ll be the link between the product development kitchen and the production line, with responsibility for making sure that new products make a smooth transition from trial and testing stages to full production.
- Design, optimize and develop new manufacturing processes, conduct trials and experiments to validate process parameters.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering team to transition new products from development to commercial production, including product formulation assessment and review.
- Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement, implement process improvement to increase efficiency, reduce waste and improve product quality.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, implement quality control measures to monitor product quality.
- Investigate and resolve process-related issues, develop and implement corrective actions and support maintenance and production team.
- Develop and maintain new product development and process documentation and ensure compliance with safety regulations and good manufacturing practices.
- Provide training to production teams on new processes and equipment serves as a technical resource and fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensuring that new and existing processes are efficient, safe, and meet quality standards
- Work closely with supply chain department to assess the materials quality in the store and availability.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in cosmetology / chemistry/ food technology/ industrial engineer.
- Strong background in process design and process optimization.
- The candidate should have 5–10-year experience in manufacturing and quality control.
Critical Skills Required
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Technical aptitude and ability to use sophisticated equipment and software for monitoring and control.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations within the specific industry
