Job Summary: The Technical Assistant / Helper provides essential field support to telecom engineers and technicians during the installation, hookup, and commissioning of telecommunications and security systems on the EACOP project. This role is focused on safe execution of basic tasks such as cable handling, preparation of tools and materials, and assisting with telecom device installation under direct supervision. The position is a key entry-level role that contributes to the timely delivery of works while supporting Kent’s local content and capacity building commitments.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Basic understanding of electrical or telecom works is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to use basic hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, spanners, drills).
- Minimum: Secondary school education (Form IV/VI) or technical vocational certificate
- Basic training in telecom/electrical installation (advantage but not mandatory).
Others/Extra Details
- Previous experience as a helper/laborer on oil & gas, construction, or infrastructure projects preferred.
- No prior fiber optic/telecom specialization required – on-the-job training provided
