Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a facilities and premises management strategy as well as plans for monitoring high quality standards and appearance of banks facilities and premises.
- Support Business in Identifying new bank premises, conducting premises suitability surveys, lease negotiations with landlords for bank premises and having the leases registered/renewed in Liaison with the Company Secretary.
- Ensure adherence of Facilities/property policies and practices in line with the banks green agenda.
- Coordinate business requirements to ensure all specifications/requirements are identified and provided for in the projects scope of works and designs, and budgets.
- Manage contractors and consultants in delivering quality refurbishment and Maintenance projects, and ensure prequalification of all Facilities service providers.
- Coordinate periodic and regular repairs, cleaning and general maintenance for all bank vehicles, equipment and premises.
- Liaise with departments/Functions to understand business needs/requirements for projects and their impact on Premises issues, and make appropriate recommendations.
- Manage the supply of power/Electricity to all bank facilities/Premises to ensure uninterrupted availability of mains and backup power.
- Manage the operation of the Facilities at least cost and maximize benefit to business, including bank leases, refurbishment projects and maintenance.
- Effectively lead and manage the team consisting courier and transportation personnel and manage training and development of staff within facilities department.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, quantity surveying, facilities management or related fields is required.
- Professional Qualifications in Facilities Management and Project management is an added advantage.
- A master’s degree in MBA or Facilities Management is an added advantage.
Experience
- At least 4 years working experience preferably in facilities and project management.
