Job Summary: Info-Code Consults LTD is seeking to hire drivers to drive trucks and participate in the logistics (Delivery) of first consumable goods around Kampala and Out-side Kampala.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collecting items from the ware house to destined distribution centres.
- Ensure proper handling of goods to avoid damages.
- Deliver packages to customers in timely and professional manner Plan the most efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines.
- Inspect Vehicles regularly for safety and performance and basic maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery, mileage, fuel use and other expenses Complete delivery logs, invoices if applicable.
- Handle any cash or digital payments if applicable.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Certificate in a Driving course from a recognised institution.
- Should at least hold 3 Classes on their Driving permit with progressive experience in a competitive environment or commercial environment.
- Should hold a Driving Licence and a National ID.
- Having a certificate in Basic Mechanics is an added advantage
