deploying volunteers as part of the European Union Aid Volunteers initiative.
The project enables young EU citizens and long-term residents in EU to get
involved in international humanitarian aid projects and kick-start their
career. This is a great opportunity for young professionals to get involved in
humanitarian aid projects in non-EU countries affected by disaster and by this
kick-starting an international career within the humanitarian sector. As a

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Support office in
collecting and ensuring information is up-to-date

- Collect and maintain DRC Uganda data Platform with relevant and
up-to-date information; - Support in maintaining programmatic information and other databases
as necessary; - Produce various information products as required;
- Participate in field data collection, analysis and reporting;
- Collect, organise and generate information for GIS (Geographic
Information System) with close collaboration with the Regional GIS
Officer.

- Develop and maintain network with consortium partners to gather,
maintain and produce wide range of information products (brochures,
success stories, etc.); - Attend partner meetings to identify information requirement needs
and helping management find solution to identified information gaps

- Assists MEAL Officer in designing and developing database management
systems, monitoring tools and data collection tools/templates; - Maintain various databases such as beneficiary database,
infrastructure database and mobile data platforms; - Participate in the development of information management
strategy/policy; - Provide analysis, visualization and reports from information
generated from the database.

- Contribute to the development of knowledge management portal;
- Participate in dissemination meetings/workshops;
- Conduct Database and Information management training to project
staff; - Assist in Identification of sources of information and trends
related to refugee influx/migration including identification of knowledge

- 10% of the EUAV time will be allocated for communication tasks, to
demonstrate the value added and impact of the EU Aid Volunteers initiative
and its different actions, and the professional contribution of EU Aid
Volunteers. This will be implemented through specific channels discussed
with the communications officer. - Get in touch with the ECHO’s RIOs (Regional Information Officers)
to, previously approved by the line manager, share information about HOPE
and the experience to be an EU Aid Volunteer. - Develop one story from the field (an anecdotal story about their experience/work/
impact) produced during the assignment that may be uploaded into the
network for use by sending/hosting organisation and the European Union for
communication purposes. - Conference/workshop participation: Where appropriate, contribute to
sharing experiences of life as an EU Aid Volunteer at conference/workshops
organised by sending or hosting organisations and the European Commission.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Contract Terms: As an EU Aid Volunteer your expenses during trainings and deployment will
be covered, including travel costs, insurance, and accommodation. In addition,
