Job Summary: The Systems Administrator will provide
technical guidance and management of World Vision Uganda’s ICT Systems
environment for efficient business operations that impact achievement of World
Vision Uganda’s child well-being aspirations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage server and storage (NAS) environment in line with WV policies
and/or Industrial standards. - Perform Systems analysis for short/long term planning in line with
industrial best practices and/or WV Policies and standards. - Manage user accounts in Active Directory, Domino, NAS, and other
local systems in line with WV policies and/or Industrial standards. - Document system configurations, best practices and Plans to guide
future changes. - Provide customer service to all business clients in line with World
Vision Customer Service standards - Support Succession planning through coaching and guidance to ICT
Staff. - Coordinate testing of the Disaster Recovery Plan in line with World
Vision Policies and guidelines.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the World Vision Systems Administrator job
placement should preferably hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer
Science/Information Technology or related field - MCSE Training.
- ITIL Certification.
- At least five years of experience in busy IT office.
- Three years of experience as Systems Administration.
- Experience in IBM Domino Administration.
- Excellent Analytical Skills.
- Customer-focused. Must demonstrate a strong willingness to meet the
customer’s needs while balancing the organization’s needs and priorities - Demonstrates eagerness and aptitude for acquiring necessary
technical knowledge, skills and judgment to accomplish a result or to
serve a client’s needs effectively - Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
