Job Summary:   Jakana Foods Ltd, a leading producer of high-quality dried fruits and gourmet food products, is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. If you have a passion for numbers and a knack for keeping financial records in order, we’d love to meet you!

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process and record daily financial transactions with precision.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Petty cash management.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payments.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and support month-end closings.
• Assist with payroll processing and liaise with external auditors as needed.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within the food or manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in various accounting systems; knowledge of QuickBooks is an added advantage
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
