Job Title:  Assistant Logistics Officer

About the Company:

It is specialized in highly-skilled profiles and the underlying activity of designees / staff mainly covers drilling and off-shore oil rig management. It also provides scalable, integrated operations & maintenance resources and services covering the lifecycle of energy assets, as well as tele-operated surveillance and maintenance services.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Export Documentation Management:

  • Prepare and verify export documents (commercial invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.).
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of documents to customs and freight forwarders.

Logistics Coordination:

  • Track shipments and ensure timely delivery, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Monitor inventory levels to align with customer shipment demands.

Customs Compliance:

  • Work with customs agents to ensure shipments comply with regulations in both exporting and importing countries.
  • Handle customs clearance and ensure/follow up timely payment of tariffs, taxes, and duties.

Client and Supplier Communication:

  • Act as the main point of contact between the company, customers and suppliers and associated parties.
  • Provide shipment tracking and delivery updates to customers.
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to confirm export schedules and packaging requirements.

Cost Management and Budgeting:

  • Track logistics expenses and optimize shipping costs.
  • Negotiate freight rates and other shipping-related costs with providers.

Risk Management:

  • Conduct due diligence and Ensure adequate insurance for shipments against damage, theft, or loss.
  • Address shipping issues, delays, or claims to minimize customer disruption.

Stock and Warehouse Management:

  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure coffee products are packed and ready for export.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on international trade regulations and shipping best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and better delivery timelines.
  • Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelors in Logistics and Supply chain management or a related academic level.
