Ernest Cook University (ECU) is a private University offering a wide range of courses with a niche in health-related programmes. ECU began as Ernest Cook Ultrasound Research and Education Institute (ECUREI) whose initial seed was teaching and training Ultrasound.

 

Job Summary:   The Community Engagement Officer will serve as the liaison between the institution and the surrounding community, promoting partnerships and social impact.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing community outreach programs.
  • Building relationships with local organizations, schools, and stakeholders.
  • Promoting the institution’s role in community development and social responsibility.

 



Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Communication, or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Prior experience in community engagement or public relations is an advantage.
