Job Summary: The Head of Administration and Procurement
will provide strategic leadership for all administration and procurement
activities in accordance with the bank’s business objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Administration and procurement department
strategy. - Spearhead the preparation of the annual procurement plan as well as
departmental budget. - Effective management departmental costs within approved budget.
- Develop, monitor and review administration policies and procedures.
- A key member of the procurement and contracts committee
- Oversee the procurement activities in line with the approved bank
policy. - Manage service contracting and ensure compliance to SLAs
- Effectively and efficiently manage vendor relations for better
terms. - Coordinate the annual performance evaluation of service providers.
- Perform risk assessments for supply contracts and agreements.
- Ensure effective facility management within agreed budgets.
- Build and lead an effective and cohesive administrative team
- Responsible for monitoring, and evaluating department and suppliers,
staff performance.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement,
Supply Chain Management, Administration or any other related discipline. - At least eight years of experience in logistics/ administration
management. - CIPS is an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Contractor management, Pre-qualification of suppliers
