Job Title:   Senior Lecturer in Architecture

Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) is a faith-based private University owned by the Episcopal Conference of the Catholic Bishops of Uganda.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The candidate should have either a PhD in Architecture / Environmental Design or its equivalent from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
• S/he should have a Master’s Degree in Architecture / Environmental Design or its equivalent from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
• S/he should have a Bachelor in Architecture/ Environmental Design or its equivalent or any other related discipline from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
• S/he should have a minimum of four (4) years teaching experience.
• S/he should have evidence of scholarship and research experience in the area.
• S/he should have evidence of engagements and recognition with the professional and other communities.
• The successful candidate should demonstrate experience in sustainable and resilient design, with particular interest in one or more of the following: materials and assemblies, building performance simulation and energy modeling, and innovative use of materials and construction techniques among others.
