Job Summary:  The Marketing Coordinator is an entry level
role and the successful candidate will be responsible for overall coordination
of marketing and communication related activities for the company in support of
commercial, user acquisition and public relations company objectives for
Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
Media management
·        
Media
booking and scheduling for TV, radio and online channels.
·        
Radio
schedule calendar posting for internal staff.
·        
Radio
digest/tracker management.
·        
Media
house payments management.
Collateral
merchandise production & management
·        
Facilitate
design and production of new collateral materials in line with brand
guidelines.
·        
Manage
3rd party suppliers to make timely deliveries of ordered merchandise.
·        
Manage
distribution of collateral to intended target audiences.
·        
Manage
collateral digest tracker.
·        
Ensure
all relevant purchase documentation is sourced and posted into finance platform
for approval.
Events &
Activations:
·        
Plan and
execute user acquisition events & marketing campaigns.
·        
Report
and track all user acquisition events.
·        
Scope
for relevant commercial and user acquisition events.
Tracking &
Reporting Marketing Activities:
·        
Monthly
reporting of all marketing channel activity performance.
·        
Monitor
and track marketing activities/channels through the tracker and formulate
performance interventions based on the data.
Budgeting:
·        
Participate
in budget planning & preparation for key marketing activities.
·        
Marketing
activities budgeting tracking.
Digital management:
·        
Social
media – Content creation and curation management.
·        
Generate
monthly social media performance reports.
·        
When
required help write website, blog and email newsletter content (always
coordinated and aligned with the company-wide Comms).
Other:
·        
Assist
with other external and internal communications duties when required.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·        
The applicant
must hold an educational background
in marketing, business or related course.
·        
Two years
or more experience in similar or sales related role.
·        
Must
have planning and coordination skills.
·        
Must
speak fluent English.
·        
Experience
in social media use and executions.
·        
Must
have basic understanding & speech of Luganda and /or Runyakitara .
·        
You
should be willing to travel around the country occasionally to execute events
and radio show interviews as and when required.
N.B. You must
have the right to work in Uganda.
