Job Summary: The role involves managing and organizing physical geological samples in the core library, ensuring accurate tracking, labeling, and centralized storage to support scientific research and operational needs in the oil field.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verify whether the received physical geological samples in the core library are consistent with the received samples based on the sample handover list.
- Identify the basic information of physical geological samples (well name, depth, etc.) on the outer side of the core box.
- Prepare a physical geological sample management ledger (Excel form) based on basic information such as well names and depths of physical geological samples.
- Centralized storage of physical geological samples in consecutive adjacent storage spaces.
- Based on the physical geological sample management ledger, precise identification of the physical geological samples required by scientific researchers can be carried out, and they can be removed from the rock core rack to cooperate with scientific researchers in carrying out relevant service utilization work.
- Analyze the basic information of the well such as the well name, depth, and order to be made into physical file labels and pasted on the top of the core box for easy viewing.
- Before the operation, organize the difficulty analysis and technical disclosure of the operation.
- During the service period, assist Company to complete the operation support projects in each region, communicate and report to the project managers of the operators in each region as needed to ensure the quality of technical support services;
- Complete other matters arranged by company during the service period.
- Accurately locate the samples in a timely manner and place them in an orderly manner on the observation table.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- College degree or above in Petroleum engineering, archives or related majors.
- Good professional English skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
- Proficient in operating forklifts and lifting platforms.
- Understand relevant laws and regulations, industry standards, technical specifications, systems, manuals, and regulations related to archive management.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office software, such as EXCEL, WORD, PPT and PROJECT, etc.
- Have good analytical skills with a high attention to detail and engineering spirit.
- Be able to cooperate with project team leaders to promote the smooth implementation of the project.
- Full of team spirit, happy to deal with various relationships
- Be able to work under pressure, hard-working, good at self-motivated, energetic.
- Good conduct, dedication, honesty and self-discipline, strong sense of confidentiality, good team spirit.
