• Allocate and monitor work assigned to subordinates
• Provide technical guidance and support to subordinates in the plant.
• Monitor inventory and prepare requisitions for raw materials and
  spare parts
• Prepare daily production reports
• Daily oversee of preventive maintenance in the plant
• Keenly monitor performance of workers during the production process
• Enter production data into the Enterprise Resource Application
  database
• To oversee housekeeping in the production area
• Work in consultation with the Manufacturing Manager, determine and
  implement efficient production methods.
• Ensure that the products are produced on time and of good quality
• Keenly monitor the production process and make sure that
  quality-control programs are implanted.
• Responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment and work
  with managers to ensure that the company’s policies and goals are
  accomplished on time.
• Implement the health and safety guidelines in the plant
• Tasked with identifying training needs
• Perform any other duties assigned by the BUM/Manufacturing Manager

• The ideal candidate for the Mukwano Production Officer, Laundry Soap
  job must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Food Science and
  Technology; Chemistry or related discipline
• At least two years of working experience in plastics production
  section in a busy manufacturing set up.
• Excellent communication skills for both oral and written
• Excellent customer care skills, good numerical ability, positive
  attitude, a team player, flexible, results focused, takes initiative,
  logical reasoning skills , problem solving and creativity skills.
• Should have the ability to adjust to changing technology and ability
  to perform to expected standards.
• Mechanical ability, physical strength and stamina and the ability to
  work for long hours and in high places
