About US:
The Christian Hall
at Watoto Church is a ministry partnership between OneHope and Watoto Church
designed to provide high quality Christian academic, spiritual, and professional
formation opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students through
international online degree and certificate programs. The Hall is committed to
excellence, rigor, integrity, faith and the integration of these values in both
the classroom and workplace. As a pilot program, the first year will be
dedicated to shaping, testing and refining the Hall with the intent to continue
to grow the program in subsequent years. All personnel contracts will be at
longest through the end of the first academic year until the program is
established.
Job Summary:  The Watoto Hall Assistant Director will be
responsible for executing the logistical, programmatic and administrative
duties that will ensure a transformational student experience at the Hall. At
the direction of the Hall Director, the Assistant Director will establish
processes and plans for the program and will provide supervision to program
staff. Embodying the vision and values of the Hall, the Program Manager will
represent the program to internal and external audiences and serve as the
primary point of contact in the Director’s absence.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
Hall Strategy
  • Collaborate with the Advisory Council to develop annual strategic objectives
    and plans, including: Business plan and student enrollment goals for
    degree programs o Objectives for student services – mentors, tutors, etc.
  • Accountable to communicate updates to the Advisory Council on
    progress toward objectives, and identify issues that need resolution
Marketing &
Recruitment
  • Lead recruitment of new students for the program, including
    development and execution of marketing calendar
  • Oversee the application process for potential students, from
    interest through acceptance with academic partner
  • Oversee creation of marketing materials and execution of marketing
    events by the Program Coordinator.
Student
Communication & Services
  • Accountable to retain students; provides spiritual care and oversees
    Program Coordinator’s work to ensure a good student experience
  • Recruit mentors to provide spiritual and professional direction and
    guidance, and oversee their management by the Program Coordinator
  • Recruit tutors to offer study support to students and oversee their
    management by the Program Coordinator
  • Ensure student events, speaker series and welfare are all well
    scheduled, prepared and planned for annually.
Partner
Collaboration
  • Develop marketplace partnerships to create internship opportunities
    for students
  • Collaborate with academic partners to ensure program objectives are
    met
  • Collaborate with OneHope to ensure program objectives are met
Budget &
Finance
  • Develop annual budget for approval by Advisory Council
  • Oversee payment collections for tuition, fees and books.
  • Oversee financial management of the program are up to date and
    clearly communicated to respected parties.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant should preferably hold a master’s degree, with a
    terminal degree in his/her field
  • Entrepreneurship (Level 4)
  • Leading and Developing Others (Level 4)
  • Relationship Building for Influence (Level 4)
  • Working Strategically (Level 4)
  • Must be a mature follower of Christ and member of Watoto Church.
