About Compassion Project:

Assemblies of God North West Nile Pastorate is working in partnership with
Compassion International in fulfilling the great commission as mandated by our
Lord Jesus Christ in Mathew 28:16-20. This is done in a holistic approach which
includes Child Development Ministry.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Serve as an advocate for children and their caregivers who live in
    poverty and are not able to speak for themselves.
  • Provide a positive and safe environment where children can learn and
    develop to their fullest potential
  • Work out to prevent and reduce the risks of the incidence of abuse
    through enforcing child Protection Policies, strategies and procedures.
  • The incumbent will also mobilize resources that can provide sound
    learning opportunities for children in all areas of child development
  • Shall be the team leader of the project staff
  • Shall oversee the overall management of the project to ensure effectiveness
    and efficiency of implementations
  • Take lead in Preparation of activity plans, implementation and
    budgeting.
  • Provide technical support to staff.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Social Works and Social
    Administration, Education, Nursing, Development Studies, Community
    Psychology, Child Ministries and other related skills
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in community related work
    especially dealing with children.
  • Mature and practicing Christian with good bible knowledge
  • Good interpersonal relational skills
  • Computer literacy and knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Speaking & understanding Madi language shall be an added
    advantage.
  • Age: Between 23 —
    40 years
