Job Summary:  The Lower Primary Classroom Teacher will be a
classroom teacher in the Lower Primary delivering an international curriculum
to students.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
Teaching &
Learning
·        
Demonstrate
good classroom practice
·        
Plan
lessons according to subject map for the British Curriculum provided by Head of
Primary
·        
Deliver
lessons through innovative teaching and positive mind set
·        
Monitor
and evaluate the progress of children
·        
Work
with the team to provide a stimulating and engaging working environment
·        
Keep
abreast of any new initiatives and developments in the teaching and learning
and assessment of children
·        
Provide
an environment and resources which allows for the delivery of the Primary
Curriculum
·        
Actively
promote the Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural Values agenda throughout the
school community
Manage pupil
development
·        
Provide
guidance, support and motivation for Primary children by being a positive and
outstanding role model
·        
Adhere
to the school’s safeguarding procedures when dealing with concerns regarding
children and families
·        
Maintain
good discipline by adherence to the school behaviour management policy
·        
Set high
expectations for student behaviour
·        
Set
appropriate expectations for students’ learning, motivation and presentation of
work
·        
Promote
good attendance and monitor in accordance with school policy



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·        
The ideal
candidate must hold relevant Certificate or Higher in Primary Aged Teaching
·        
One year
of experience in an international school teaching Primary
·        
Excellent
command of written and spoken English
