Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate the Well SORs preparation in close collaboration with the geophysicists, reservoir engineers, Operation Geology and drilling teams (objectives, well trajectory, target box, section TD criteria, data acquisition).
- During drilling operations, work together with the Ops Geology, geophysicist, reservoir engineers and Drilling teams to safely deliver the wells and achieve their objectives.
- Participate in the analysis of the geological data and apply the best practice in managing these data together with the Geoinformation team.
- Participate in the reservoir models update with new data collected during the drilling campaign.
- Contribute to the documentation and reporting required by the Local Authorities (PRR, ARR, …)
- Propose continuous improvements on the way the team (2G) works.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum a Bachelors or master’s degree in Geology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Geologist with practice in the following competencies: geological & structural interpretation, structural modeling, reservoir modeling, log interpretation, petrophysical synthesis & modeling, well preparation, uncertainty analysis, reservoir characterization.
