Job Summary: The People and Culture Partner will report to the Manager People & Culture Partner.
Main purpose of the job:- He /She will be responsible for driving the achievement of the Region’s business objectives through the implementation of People and Culture strategy, policies and practices. This position serves as a liaison between the business lines and People and Culture to ensure fulfilment of People and Culture needs e.g. recruitment, performance management, compensation, career development.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analysis of resource gaps, maintaining of required head count, Recruitment, Induction, career and succession planning, Probationary, Leave and exit
- Monitor the appropriate use of various types of employee contracts and staff resources, of change initiatives, drive and deliver People and Culture initiatives to support business, work in partnership with operational management teams to identify areas and opportunity for improvement)
- Training needs assessments, career conversations, Talent
- Instill performance management culture, coordinate performance appraisals, manage feedback process, PIP
- Interpret policies and procedures, attend to employee grievances and complaints, ensure workplace
- Support other roles within HR as need be including operational issues g. payroll
- Facilitate the implementation of planned initiatives and provide key metrics to ensure effectiveness of
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of HRM, Social sciences, Organisational psychology or other relevant degree
- 2 years in a HR generalist or Business Partners role
