Job Summary: As a Condition monitoring personnel, you are expected to evaluate the condition of equipment or machines. Inspect and test mechanical machinery and systems, such as motors, molding machinery, and auxiliary equipment for defects and wear to ensure maximum availability for production
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reads and interprets materials, such as work orders, inspection manuals, and blueprints, to determine inspection and test procedures
- Carry out Condition monitor of equipment and analyzing results.
- Regarding inspection results, recommends corrective procedures, and compiles reports of results, recommendations, and needed repairs
- Tests and measures finished products, components, or assemblies for functioning, operation, accuracy, or assembly to verify adherence to functional specifications
- Suggests appropriate control measures of avoiding machine stoppages.
- Carry out shaft alignment using laser tools.
- Develop and review periodically Inspection Master plans for the plant equipment.
- Participate in the RCA process to mitigate future plant failures.
- Commission new and old installations more especially after Shutdown jobs.
- To maintain a historical tracking of inspections and trending records of plant equipment.
- Static alignment of molds for smooth operation.
- Analyze Equipment Vibrations.
- Carry out none destructive tests using different techniques and tools such as Ultrasonic; die penetrant; shore hardness; and any other available tool
- Carry out No load and Load test for the new installed equipment
- Prepare and circulate Engineering reports to all stark holders.
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Degree or Ordinary Diploma (with 5 years experience in a relevant field) in Mechanical Engineering
