The Little Cafe runs a restaurant that serves you from Monday to Sunday. We do free deliveries around Kampala Metropolitan Area.

Job Summary:   The Little Cafe is seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team in Kisasi. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage transactions efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring a positive experience while accurately handling cash and electronic payments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.
• Ensure that all cash registers are balanced at the end of each shift.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar customer service role preferred.
• Strong numerical and cash handling skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software is a plus.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
