About the Citizens’ Action Against Corruption Activity:

The high levels of corruption, permeating all sectors of Ugandan society is driven by growing impunity, citizen apathy and permissive social norms that promote, facilitate, and even justify corruption. While Uganda has the basic policies and institutional framework necessary to address corruption in place, the efforts have neither stopped, nor reduced the leakage of public resources, or enjoyed the confidence of majority of citizens.
