Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team and help us drive our HR strategy forward. We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage our Human Resources department in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The HR Manager will be responsible for implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with our business goals, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. A strong background in HR software and systems is essential to streamline HR operations and enhance data management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of the manufacturing facility.
- Oversee the entire recruitment and selection process, ensuring the attraction and retention of skilled workers.
- Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they integrate smoothly into the company’s culture and operations.
- Address employee relations issues promptly and effectively, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Lead performance management processes, including setting performance standards, conducting reviews, and developing improvement plans.
- Design and implement training and development programs to improve employee skills and foster career growth within the company.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness in the manufacturing industry and compliance with regulations.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Utilize HR software to manage employee data, payroll, benefits, and performance management efficiently.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting employee engagement, morale, and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with department heads and senior management to align HR initiatives with business goals.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources management or a related role.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and labor laws specific to the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in HR software and systems, with the ability to leverage technology to improve HR processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
- Experience in conflict resolution and performance management.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations is a plus.
