Job Summary:  We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Chef and House Manager to oversee hospitality at our client’s CEO villa in Dubai. The role involves managing daily villa operations, preparing authentic Ugandan dishes, and ensuring top-quality service while supervising household staff.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of Ugandan dishes to a high standard.
• Cater to the CEO’s preferences, especially for Ugandan delegates.
• Oversee day-to-day villa operations.
• Manage household staff, including scheduling and delegation.
• Coordinate with external service providers for maintenance.
• Welcome and interact with guests, dignitaries, and high-profile visitors.
• Ensure the highest standards of meals, beverages, and guest experience.
• Manage household inventory and ensure adequate stock of supplies.
• Liaise with suppliers for timely procurement of quality ingredients.
• Maintain a professional relationship with the CEO, family, and guests.
• Handle requests with discretion and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Plan and design menus according to dietary and health requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Supervise meal preparation and ensure timely service for all meals.
• Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation to meet standards.
• Train household staff on kitchen operations and safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
• Organize and oversee special events and gatherings at the villa.
• Manage budgets for household expenses and kitchen supplies.
• Resolve household issues and address staff concerns promptly.
• Ensure overall security and safety of the villa and its occupants.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in luxury residences.
• Expertise in preparing Ugandan dishes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working in ambassadorial residences is a plus.
• Must be Ugandan, aged between 24-35.
• Currently in Uganda but willing to relocate to Dubai.

NB: Female candidates are preferred for this role.
