Job Summary: The Sales Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team, managing sales documentation, and ensuring the efficient processing of sales orders for trucks and commercial equipment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate sales support by assisting the sales team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including preparing quotes, proposals, contracts, scheduling appointments, preparing sales presentation and marketing materials.
- Process sale orders, ensure accuracy and completeness of all required documentation.
- Liaise with finance, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and invoicing of sold trucks and equipment.
- Track and monitor the status of orders, including spare parts and keep customers and sales staff informed of any changes or delays.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability and order status.
- Assist in post-sale support activities, including warranty claims and service scheduling.
- Monitor inventory levels of trucks and commercial equipment and coordinate with the purchasing department to replenish stock as needed.
- Maintain and update customer records, sales databases, and Customer Relationship Management systems.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or automotive engineering, Business Management, Sales, and Marketing or related fields
- At least 2 years’ sales experience in Commercial Vehicles sales
- Valid driving license and having the class for commercial vehicles is an added advantage
