It is focused on equipping learners with skills to enable them get into gainful employment.
Job Summary: The Talent Management Lead is responsible for establishment, development and implementation of talent management strategies and partnerships for placement and engagement of Refactory Talent across various organisations and ecosystems.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: The Talent Management Lead will be responsible for the following:
Talent Partner Strategy
- Develop and implement partnership strategies and frameworks that attract external organisations to Refactory Talent.
- Develop partnerships with industry associations, various organisations, recruitment agencies and professional bodies to understand their Tech Talent hiring needs.
- Develop and establish memorandums of understandings for Talent Acquisition partnerships based on mutual agreements with Refactory.
- Develop a clear understanding of diversity and inclusion requirements across various organisations to enhance partnership establishment and maintenance.
- Set measurable KPIs to track the success of established partnerships.
Talent Placement Strategy
- Develop and implement talent placement strategies and frameworks that align with Refactory’s objectives.
- Develop and Implement automated Talent sourcing pipelines and systems to ensure achievement of Refactory’s placement targets.
- Create systems to conduct talent assessments for evaluation of their skills, competencies, and potential.
- Create strong collaboration with HRs and various organisational leaders to identify and fulfill placement needs and ensure alignment with their talent management and recruitment strategies and plans.
- Ensure consistent communication and implementation of feedback systems with hiring organisations to ensure positive placement experiences and increase talent utilization, retention and new requests for Refactory Talent.
Career Pathing and Development
- Develop and implement career pathing initiatives to support Refactory Talent growth and knowledge of available opportunities.
- Provide guidance and support to Refactory Talent in identifying and pursuing career available opportunities.
- Lead the design and implementation leadership and career development programs to build a strong pipeline of future leaders.
- Provide guidance and direction to facilitation of coaching, mentoring, and training initiatives to enhance leadership capabilities of Refactory Talents.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Develop data analysis tools and strategies to track and measure the effectiveness of talent placement initiatives.
- Use assessment data to make informed placement decisions and development plans.
- Prepare and present reports on talent placement metrics and outcomes to senior leadership.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- At least 5 years of experience in talent management, resourcing, acquisition, mobility and leadership development, preferably in the technology sector or workforce development programs.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, talent development, and talent engagement.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Strong understanding of the Tech ecosystem and its talent needs.
- Familiar with skilling for employment initiatives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various organisations and people at different levels.
- Proficiency in Talent Management software and analytics tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in employment practices and program initiatives.
