Job Summary: We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer to join our team. This is a post-production-focused role involving video editing, motion graphics, AI-assisted content creation, colour grading, sound design, and voiceover production.
You will work with our social media managers, designers, and videographers to produce engaging content for multiple client brands.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form content, including Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts, and social media advertisements.
• Produce corporate, promotional, product, testimonial, and campaign videos.
• Create 2D motion graphics, animated text, titles, transitions, lower thirds, and logo animations.
• Use AI tools to generate video clips, visual assets, backgrounds, and other creative elements.
• Create, edit, and synchronize voiceovers using recorded audio and AI voice-generation tools.
• Perform colour correction, colour grading, audio editing, and sound design.
• Add accurate captions and subtitles to videos.
• Adapt content into different sizes, lengths, and formats for various digital platforms.
• Follow creative briefs, scripts, and brand guidelines while meeting production deadlines.
• Organize project files and manage revisions for multiple client projects.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Two to three years of professional video-editing or motion-graphics experience.
• A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, or equivalent professional software.
• Experience creating 2D motion graphics and editing short-form and corporate video content.
• Practical experience using AI video-generation, AI voiceover, and other AI-assisted creative tools.
• Strong knowledge of colour grading, sound design, visual storytelling, and audience-focused editing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, receive feedback professionally, and meet deadlines.
• Availability to work full-time from our office in Muyenga, Kampala.
• Previous experience working with a digital marketing agency or managing content for multiple brands will be an advantage.
