Uganda Tea Corporation Ltd (UTCL) is a leading private tea producer and exporter based in Uganda, with operations centered around its estates in Kasaku near Lugazi, close to Kampala.

Job Summary: The Coffee Manager will provide strategic leadership and oversight of all coffee operations, from field operations, cherry reception to color sorting, ensuring maximum efficiency, premium product quality, and compliance with food safety and industry standards. The role is responsible for managing production teams, optimizing factory performance, implementing quality assurance systems, oversesing equipment maintenance, and coordinating production planning to achieve operational targets while maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Food Science or a related field.
Seven (7) years of progressive experience in coffee agronomic practices, processing and factory operations, with expertise from therry reception to agronomic
Strong knowledge of coffee agronomic practices, coffee
processing techniques, quality assurance, grading,
production planning, and factory operations.
Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities
