Job Title: Bancassurance Relationship – Specialist

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Vigilance on compliance to the Bank’s policies and procedures regarding Bancassurance services.
- Submit the monthly Insurance Regulatory complaints report to Bancassurance Manager.
- Compile Life Assurance production reports on a weekly basis to aid tracking of productivity and performance.
- Ensure that accurate and competitive quotations are prepared and delivered promptly to clients in the regions.
- Participate in placement of credit life and mortgage protection covers
- Register and ensure processing of all claims and advise clients on the required claims supporting documents
- Confirm that all issued policy documents meet the standards of the Bank
- To constantly check for fulfillment of the legal, statutory and regulatory requirements of Bank of Uganda and Insurance Regulatory Authority and other relevant bodies
- In put all policies in CQ
- To execute daily Bancassurance Operations which entails cross selling products, posting risk details, claims administration and documentations
- Compile relevant information for advising the Manager Bancassurance on strategy execution and monitor progress on implementation
- Follow up on Direct Debt set up, cancellation and all other customer-related Direct Debt operations.
- Act as BCP to Operations General.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.
- Certificate of Proficiency
- Relevant Sales, Marketing and insurance
- Excellent relationship management skills.
- Good analytical and interpretation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer knowledge
- Customer focus
