Job Summary: We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Account Manager to join Nile Post, a brand of Next Media Group. The Account Manager will be responsible for driving advertising sales and promotional partnerships across Nile Post platforms, including the website, social media channels, and newsletters. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and develop tailored advertising solutions that meet client objectives while contributing to the commercial growth of the brand.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Sell advertising space and promotional opportunities across Nile Post’s website, social media platforms, and newsletters.
  • Meet with clients to understand their marketing and communication objectives and recommend tailored advertising solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, quotations, and commercial pitches.
  • Negotiate advertising agreements and successfully close sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with editorial, digital, and marketing teams to deliver effective client campaigns.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, client database, and regular sales reports.
  • Monitor media, advertising, and digital trends to identify new commercial opportunities.
  • Represent Nile Post at client meetings, networking engagements, and industry events.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the media or advertising industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify leads, and successfully close business opportunities.
  • Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong client relationship management and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with media platforms, digital advertising, and current advertising trends is an added advantage.
