The Beauvais Buve Retreat Center is a premier Christian retreat and equipping facility located on 29 acres of tranquil, lush bushland in Mazzi-Bugujju, Masulita Town Council, Wakiso District. Officially opened in January 2025, this serene haven is built on Catholic values and functions as a spiritual and professional sanctuary designed to help individuals, couples, and organizations step away from city distractions to find rest and deep focus.




Job Summary: Reporting to the Directors, the Operations Manager will lead the day-to-day running of the Center, overseeing hospitality, events, guest services, administration, and facilities management. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, ensuring operational excellence across all areas of the Center. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving efficiency, strengthening systems and reporting structures, enhancing guest experience, and supporting the long-term sustainability and growth of the organization.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the retreat and conference center.
  • Lead hospitality, guest services, and events coordination.
  • Ensure excellence in guest experience and service delivery.
  • Strengthen operational systems, reporting, and accountability.
  • Support budgeting, financial oversight, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate facilities management, maintenance, and logistics.
  • Supervise and develop operational staff and service teams.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives and organizational planning.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:




  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management,
  • Accounting, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Professional certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in operations, finance, hospitality, or business management.
  • Strong command of budgeting, cash-flow management, financial systems, and tax planning.
  • Proven track record of building systems and improving organizational efficiency.
  • Experience in hospitality, retreat centers, hotels, events, or service-oriented businesses is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and integrity, with the ability to lead teams through growth and change.
