Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Junior Software Support Officer to support system users, troubleshoot issues, and participate in the ongoing enhancement of our software solutions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to users of ACCAST Online.
- Investigate and resolve software issues reported by clients.
- Perform minor enhancements and modifications to PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL code.
- Test software updates and new features before deployment.
- Assist in database maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Prepare user guides, technical documentation, and support materials.
- Participate in software implementation, user training, and system demonstrations.
- Log, track, and follow up client support requests.
- Work closely with management to identify opportunities for system improvement.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of PHP and MySQL is essential.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web application development.
- Familiarity with SQL queries and database concepts.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
