Job Title: Field Agronomist (7 Positions)
Organisation: Igara Mixed Farmers Area Cooperative Enterprise
Duty Station: Bushenyi, Uganda
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide agronomic support and extension services to farmers
- Monitor crop performance and recommend best practices
- Promote sustainable farming and soil management
- Collect field data and prepare reports
- Work closely with farmers to improve productivity and profitability
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma or BSc in Agriculture or related field
- Strong knowledge of agronomy and crop management
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work in the field and with farming communities
- Passion for improving agricultural productivity
- Computer literacy is an added advantage
