Job Summary: The facilities and Administration team of the Uganda country program is responsible for ensuring the office is well maintained, cleaned, well aerated, with proper lighting. The team supports with booking domestic and international travel for staff, manages the country program store records and also forms part of the country office safety and security management team.
At the end of the internship, the intern should be able to maintain store records by updating and reconciling them appropriately. The intern should also be able to interact with service providers, e.g., when placing orders, and be able to reconcile monthly bills and reports.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The intern will support the oversight of the facilities cleaning team
- Update office stores’ records on a weekly basis
- Organise staff travel and accommodation
- Liaise with vehicle service providers to secure vehicles for staff travels
- Prepare the travel charge list report at the end of every month.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Should be a final year Bachelor’s degree student from an accredited University
- Able to speak, write and communicate fluently in English
- Willing to undertake the internship in different areas such as facilities management, general office management, domestic and international travel coordination and coordination of office meetings
