Job Title: Data Manager

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
About Organisation:
gnuGrid CRB Limited was licensed by Bank of Uganda in November 2021 as the first-ever indigenous Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) in Uganda. We collect credit data on individuals and non-individual borrowers, validate data into meaningful profiles that are disseminated in form of credit reports and credit scores to enable credit providers make informed lending decisions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure Data Accuracy and Quality
- Investigate and Resolve Data Disputes
- Enforce Data Governance and Compliance
- Support Database Performance and Security
- Analyze Data and Prepare Reports
- Improve Processes and Maintain Documentation
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical field
- Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in data analysis, database management, technical operations, or a similar data-focused role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in SQL and data querying
- Knowledge of relational databases
- Experience in data validation and reconciliation
- Understanding of data governance and compliance
