Job Summary: To contribute to the growth of the Liabilities book through the analysis of product performance, product planning and design, and product management of PBB Transactional and Liabilities products.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To ensure revenue collection on all products and services by monitoring all fee lines for accurate pricing and subsequent collection, proper system set up and timely response to all queries assigned from a customer perspective.
- Monitor the current concession book to ensure clients are meeting conditions for the concession, the right accounts actually have the correct concessions loaded, review the book to ensure concessions granted are still profitable therefore preventing revenue leakage and at the same time growing the total income to the bank.
- Analyse transactional liability reports in order to provide insights and recommended actions to the segment and product heads regarding the performance of the products.
- Develop product proposals to suit customer needs based on customer engagements, surveys, feedback from the staff across the business which will be presented for approval to the product committee via the Manager, Transactional Products and Liabilities.
- Attend Business Development Committee, identify cross sell opportunities for clients discussed at the committee and offer solutions to the relationship managers for consideration.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- First Degree Business Commerce or related from a recognised Institution
- 4 years experience within the Consumer Banking sector with the ability to do financial modelling, Business acumen to understand and drive impact of actions on product economics.
- Experience managing risk (financial, reputational, regulatory, Guarantees and understanding the reporting process
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions independently.
- Knowledge and experience of Trade product Guarantees, Sanctions/compliance.
- Experience with all relevant publications governing guarantees Uniform Rules for Demand Guarantees no 758, International Standby Practices ISP 98
- Experience with issuance of Foreign Outward and Inward Guarantees, spot transactions, Nostro and Vostro accounts, exchange rates, balance of payments, exchange control, Nostro/Vostro reconciliation, SWIFT concepts,
