Job Summary: The Sales Consultant – Equipment is responsible for driving Equipment sales by engaging customers, understanding their needs, and delivering an exceptional purchase experience. The role focuses on lead generation, customer relationship management, and seamless coordination across dealership functions to ensure a high-quality end‑to‑end buying journey.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify, engage, and convert prospects into successful equipment purchases and achieve sales targets
- Build and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with individual clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, referrals, and long‑term loyalty.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date customer database
- Effectively managing credit customer accounts to ensure timely collection of debts
- Plan and execute meaningful customer engagements.
- Prepare and follow up on all quotations requested by customers
- Market & Competitor Awareness. Monitor consumer trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform sales approaches, refine offerings, and support continuous improvement of Equipment sales strategies.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ Equipment sales experience
- Proven achievement of sales targets in a consultative, high‑value sales environment
- Strong customer-service orientation, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Valid driving license
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to align customer needs with business priorities
- Excellent relationship‑building skills and emotional intelligence
- Customer‑centric mindset with a focus on delivering value and memorable experiences
- Clear, persuasive communicator with strong negotiation capability
- High integrity, accountability, and commitment to ethical conduct
