Job Title: Sales Clerk

Hariss International Limited is one of Uganda’s leading manufacturers of food and beverages. Since its inception in 2005 the production of both food and beverages have been operating under the brand name RIHAM.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that sales team facilitation is worked on and forwarded to accounts department for posting on Agents accounts.
- Ensuring that Sales team monthly payment vouchers are worked on and sent to the field sales staff.
- Providing promotional materials to sales staff where need arise.
- Follow up with warning letters reports for those who have been issued to.
- Ensure that probational staff appraisals are done on time.
- Sending Financial statements to Agents Monthly.
- Ensuring that all the sales team are availed with the necessary equipment i.e. Phones, and printers, company lines, uniforms, diaries where necessary.
- Receiving documents and other staff sent by field staff and deliver them to the respective offices.
- Receiving and filing official documents in their respective files.
- Updating sales team list on monthly basis.
- Updating IT office with the monthly sales team transfers.
- Updating Customer Care with the Agents file status where need arise.
- Follow up with HR files sent for signing.
- Perform any other duties as per management request.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or any other relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 1 year work experience in a similar role or work environment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Effective problem-solving ability
- Customer Service skills.
- Reasoning and calculating
- Adapt quickly to unfamiliar situations
- Embrace continuous learning mentality
- Work independently or in a team environment.
