Job Summary: Exquisite Solution Limited is seeking an experienced Operations Officer for a client in the oil and gas sector. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all gantry operations, ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient loading of petroleum products.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily gantry loading operations to ensure safe, accurate, and timely fuel dispatch.
- Perform bay allocation, line-up verification, and pre-loading checks on BCUs and MOVs.
- Coordinate with the Jetty Officer to ensure accurate stock reconciliation and minimize losses and demurrage.
- Ensure compliance with terminal SOPs to prevent contamination, spills, and operational errors.
- Monitor and maintain all gantry automation and instrumentation systems in full working condition.
- Report and raise deviation requests for faulty instruments, equipment, or system defects.
- Conduct periodic ATG calibration and verification against manual tank gauging.
- Monitor product density, temperature, and TIS stock balances to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Oversee product receipts, transfers, and deliveries to prevent product loss or spillage.
- Supervise gantry operators, enforce PPE and safety compliance, maintain accurate records, and support audits and emergency drills.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years’ experience in petroleum terminal operations is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fuel handling processes, tank inventory systems, instrumentation calibration, and process safety standards.
- Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail.
- Sound understanding of Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) standards and compliance requirements.
