Job Summary: The Marketing Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive marketing plan covering brand positioning, digital channels, content, PR, and events. You will manage and expand our online presence (Linkedln, website, and other social media platforms). The role also will ensure growth of our sales and brand.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies.
- Conducting market research and analysis.
- Create and manage marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate with the sales team to drive growth.
- Work with and guide the business in the introduction of suitable products to ensure growth in the customer numbers.
- Manage product launches and oversee brand management.
- Build and implement digital marketing strategies and strengthen brand presence online.
- Lead internal processes for sourcing external service providers for digital, advertising, communications, creative, PR & sustainability services.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets for marketing and communications department and ensure a high return on marketing investments.
- Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand customer base through use of appropriate marketing channels and communications medium.
- Provide strategic direction towards strengthening mirage’s reputation and relationships with key customers and external stakeholders.
- Accountable for developing plans and activities that support the development of the company’s brand and external market perception.
- Under close guidance/delegation from the CEO, act as Mirages’ spokesperson and represent the Institution at senior level events where necessary.
- Manage the performance and development of staff in the marketing department.
- Media management, public relations management, brand management, stakeholder engagement, digital and social media management while ensuring cost effective campaign execution.
- Embed risk management and adaptability within marketing operations.
- Any other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in sales, marketing or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven work experience sales & marketing preferably in the tile, sanitaryware, ceramics and construction sector or related filed.
- Strong knowledge of brand and media management.
- Proficiency in online advertising.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
