Bugadde SACCO (Bugadde Co-operative Savings and Credit Society Limited) is a registered, community-owned financial institution that provides microfinance services across the Busoga Sub-Region and surrounding areas in Eastern Uganda. Founded in 2004 by 32 grassroots members in Mayuge District, the cooperative has grown into a trusted financial player serving thousands of members across 12 districts.
Job Summary: To evaluate, monitor, and improve the effectiveness of the SACCO’s information systems, IT controls, cybersecurity measures, and digital operations to ensure data integrity, system security, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT audit or systems security
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, databases, and ICT risk management
- Experience in banking or SACCO systems is an added advantage
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, CISSP, CEH, ISO 27001, or COBIT will be an added advantage.
