About Organisation:
Fountain Palace Hotel & Suites is a newly launched upscale hospitality destination in Kampala.
Job Summary: We are seeking four friendly and professional hostesses to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidates will create a warm, welcoming atmosphere while ensuring smooth coordination of guest seating and dining flow.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage reservations and coordinate guest seating efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and dining entrance areas
- Communicate effectively with waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow
- Handle guest inquiries with kindness and professionalism
- Provide an overall welcoming and positive first impression of the hotel
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is an asset
- Experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor
- High standards of cleanliness and personal presentation
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
