Job Title: Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Officer

Duty Station: Kigumba, Uganda
About Organisation:
Agro Supply has developed a mobile layaway savings platform that allows farmers to save and invest in farming inputs without taking credit.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure workplace health and safety across operations
- Monitor environmental compliance and regulatory requirements
- Promote a strong HSE culture within the factory
- Support implementation of safety procedures and standards
- Contribute to sustainable and safe operational practices
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Health, Engineering or related field
- HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.)
- 2–3 years of experience in construction, industrial or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of occupational health & safety and environmental regulations
- Practical understanding of site safety practices
- Passion for safety and sustainability
- Strong sense of responsibility and organization
- Good communication and teamwork skills
