Job Summary: Exquisite Solution Limited is seeking an experienced DST Engineer for a client in the oil and gas sector. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing Drill Stem Test (DST) operations, to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate well testing in line with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comply with company QHSE systems, client requirements, and platform regulations, ensuring completion of all required training and assessments.
- Apply PTW, BBS, and JSA safety tools and strictly enforce safe work practices during operations.
- Identify, report, and document site hazards, and support timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure strict adherence to approved work manuals and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Participate in QHSE training, safety briefings, and accident reviews to reinforce compliance across the team.
- Verify and confirm work string assembly and operational parameters with the Company prior to execution.
- Assemble and function-test the 7” Non-Rotation Packer according to approved procedures.
- Run in hole and set the 7” Non-Rotation Packer at the designated depth as specified.
- Retrieve the 7” Non-Rotation Packer after operations and record required well and tool data.
- Maintain accurate field records and submit timely operational reports.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Resource Exploration Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Coordinate surface equipment, downhole tools, and personnel to ensure safe and efficient DST operations.
- Identify geological, equipment, and operational risks in DST operations and implement mitigation and contingency measures.
- Ensure full compliance with company QHSE management system requirements.
- Adhere strictly to petroleum industry standards, procedures, and operational guidelines.
