Currently running a hospital in Namugongo, and an urban clinic in Ntinda. LifeLink offers both general and specialist health services in a sparkly, friendly and well-supervised environment.
Job Summary: The overall purpose is to provide reliable and courteous transportation services to Life link Medical Group with safety a top priority.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain transportation vehicles with focus on safety and security of persons and property, maintaining defensive driving at all times.
- Perform daily pre trip and post trip inspections such as checking oil, tyre pressure and battery.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary, including cleaning both outside and inside.
- Fuel the vehicles.
- Ensure that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and a log book for each vehicle is maintained with timely tracking of insurance renewals.
- Prepare trip and mileage reports.
- Prepare accident and incident reports as necessary.
- Provide safety briefing to users.
- Respond immediately to accidents and medical emergencies by notifying emergency responses providers and rendering First Aid until emergency personnel arrive.
- Distribute both ingoing and outgoing mail as needed.
- Perform occasional handyman jobs when on duty.
- Provide other services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation services.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of O’ Level certificate
- Experience of not less than 2 years
- Clean class B driving permit.
- Integrity
- Able to work under minimum supervision
- Quick on their feet and well organized.
- Negotiation skills.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and result orientated.
